From the observatory perched on top of a small hill, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Hidaka Mountains and the Tokachi Plain.
The 352 steps are worth the challenge for a view of the beautiful patchwork-shaped plains.
The mountain is closed for the winter season from November 1 to late April, so it is not accessible.
