SPOT
Rokka no Mori
'Rokka no Mori' opened in 2007, located about a 10-minute drive from the Nakasatsunai Art Village. It is a rich natural environment with the magnificent Hidaka Mountains in the background, where 100-year-old elm trees grow and a clear stream flows. The wildflowers familiar from the floral wrapping paper of Rokkatei Confectionery Co., Ltd. are grown here.
Within the grounds, there are facilities such as the 'Naoyuki Sakamoto Memorial Hall,' which exhibits sketches of wildflowers and works depicting the mountains of Hokkaido; the 'Silo Cover Picture Hall,' where cover art from the children's poetry magazine 'Silo' is displayed covering the walls and ceiling; and the 'Floral Wrapping Paper Hall.'
