SPOT
Rokka no Mori
Rokka no Mori opened in 2007, about a 10-minute drive from Nakasatsunai Art Village. With the majestic Hidaka Mountains as its backdrop, this is a rich natural environment with 100-year-old elm trees and a clear stream. The familiar flowers that appear on Rokkatei Confectionery Co., Ltd.'s floral wrapping paper are grown here.
Within the park, there is the "Sakamoto Naoyuki Memorial Hall," which exhibits sketches of flowers and works depicting the mountains of Hokkaido, the "Silo Cover Art Hall," which displays cover illustrations from the children's poetry magazine "Silo" plastered across the walls and ceiling, and the "Floral Wrapping Paper Hall."
There is also a cafe called Roku Café where you can enjoy meals and purchase souvenirs.
