The interior of the museum is designed in the image of a herring fishing house (herring palace), and displays approximately 400 items of historical and cultural heritage from prehistoric times to the present.

Fee
An entrance fee for the Youth Travel Village (400 yen for high school students and younger, 600 yen for adults) is required for visitors outside the village.
Children under 3 years old are free.
