Roadside Station "Hausjärvi Naie"
Roadside station located at the midpoint of the longest straight road in Japan. The station is named after the town of Hausjärvi in Finland, with which it has a friendship city affiliation. The station features a calm atmosphere in a log house style, and there is a "dog run" in the back of the station, which is a popular place for dog lovers to spend a comfortable day in good weather. There is also "Cafe Mimizuku" where you can enjoy crispy fried shiitake mushrooms, "Omusubi Kororin" which boasts freshly made rice balls using hukkurinko produced in Naie, and various other restaurants such as ramen, soft ice cream, etc., as well as vegetable and specialty shops.
