■What kind of facility is "Minna no Factory"?
Minna no Factories" is a recycling-oriented facility that is friendly to both people and the environment. It includes a store, a café, a kids' space and a lounge in addition to the factory where SHIRO's products are manufactured.
In order to allow visitors to see all aspects of SHIRO's manufacturing process, we have realized an "open factory" by partitioning the space with glass instead of walls. In the blender lab inside the store, visitors can enjoy the experience of making their own original fragrances using the same manufacturing process as in the actual factory.
We hope that this place will become a place for everyone in the world, complete with a café and lounge where you can relax and enjoy the view of the Pine Nesiri mountains, a free playground for children, and a small library.

■Factory: An "open factory" where you can always see things as they are
The factory area includes the R&D room, material preprocessing room, blending room, filling room, and packaging room.
In order to allow visitors to see all aspects of SHIRO's manufacturing, the factory is divided not by walls but by glass to "open the factory" and make visitors feel as if they are in the same space.
We hope that the scenery of production, which cannot be seen ordinarily, will become a part of daily life, and that people will become interested in manufacturing, and that by learning about manufacturing, they will develop a desire to take good care of their products.
The name "Minna no Factories" is derived from the idea of creating the interior and exterior together with Sunagawa citizens, using wood from thinned forests to create exterior walls and furniture together, and creating a space where adults and children, Sunagawa citizens and those from outside the city, and visitors from all over the world can live and work together. The project also includes the idea of creating a place where "everyone" can gather without excluding anyone, including adults and children, Sunagawa citizens and outsiders, visitors from all over the world, and the animals and plants that used to live in the area.

■Shop: "Blender Lab" where visitors can create their own original fragrance while experiencing the art of making things.
At the "Blender Lab" in the store, you can choose a container of your choice and blend your own fragrance. You can create your own unique fragrance, "My Fragrance," which is the only one of its kind in the world.
In addition to the standard SHIRO fragrances available "Savon," "White Lily," "White Tea," "Earl Grey," "Kinmokusei," and "Fruit Bouquet," which is available only in Sunagawa, there are also seasonal fragrances from past limited edition fragrances available for blending.
This year's spring/summer fragrances include "Verbena," a refreshing citrusy scent, and "Poppy," a fruity, sweet and sour fragrance. No appointment is necessary, and it only takes about 15 minutes to make your own fragrance. Please feel free to ask our store staff for more information.

Cafe: SHIRO CAFE conveys the deliciousness of natural Hokkaido ingredients as they are.
Together with Chef Masaharu Takao of the Italian restaurant "TAKAO" in Sapporo, SHIRO CAFE will directly visit producers and present the deliciousness of various natural ingredients found there and used in SHIRO products through cooking.
Pizza, which can only be enjoyed at the Sunagawa main store, is baked in the store's wood-fired oven after receiving your order. By actively using materials and resources from Hokkaido, where Shiro was founded, we will revitalize local agriculture and realize locally produced food, and operate the café in a way that will lead to the future.


■Kids' Space: Jungle net for children to play in the air
The kids' space with jungle netting on the ceiling is designed for both adults and children to spend time together.
While the top of the net, where children can move around freely, is a space for children, adults can watch them from the ground. Whether families visit together or children come to play alone, they can enjoy their time together in peace.
In addition, to prevent children's voices from echoing too loudly, the ceiling is covered with sound-absorbing material made from upcycled old store staff uniforms.

■Lounge: A lounge where everyone can spend their own time freely
The lounge area has a large table with no dividing line. It can be used by multiple people or by a single person, and can be used freely for resting, studying, eating, etc.
The large window on the west side of the lounge provides counter seating, allowing you to enjoy your own private time while enjoying the view of the Pine Sierra Mountains. On the south wall, there is a stairway bench and a bookshelf with 1,300 books and magazines. You can freely read or purchase books and magazines. On the wall shelf next to the large table, visitors can view archived products from the days of LAUREL, SHIRO's predecessor.
