Shogoro Takahashi Sculpture Museum
This museum exhibits the works of Shogoro Takahashi (1931), an artist who was a close friend of Bikki Sunazawa. He is an artist who has been following this attitude of "confronting wood with love, prayer, and gratitude" for more than 40 years, and has been sending the beauty of wood stored in the natural world to the human world as sculptures with bold and delicate curves and textures. Today, he continues his energetic activities in his studio overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
