SPOT
Walnut of the Wood Play Hall
It is a place where wood, people, and life interact, utilizing timber produced in Tōma Town. It is a facility for knowing, touching, and learning many things related to wood, such as a corner where you can play with wood, as well as the installation of specialized wood processing and artwork creation equipment, exhibition and sale of works, and event holding.
"Mokuiku" (Wood Education) nurtures a rich heart that can consider the relationship between people, wood, and forests, by feeling wood close at hand from childhood. Interacting with wood, learning from wood, living with wood... There are initiatives unique to Tōma Town that protect and nurture the "culture of wood."
Touching the life that is wood, feeling the warmth of the life that is wood.
This experience nurtures a heart that loves Tōma Town, which is rich in nature, a "homeland of the heart."
