SPOT
Kuruminano Museum of Wood
This is a place where people and their daily lives interact with wood, using timber produced in Toma Town. It is a facility where visitors can learn about, touch, and play with wood, as well as learn about specialized woodworking and production equipment, exhibit and sell wood products, and hold events.
The "wood education" program is designed to foster a rich mindset that allows children to think about the relationship between people, trees, and forests by becoming familiar with trees from childhood. Contact with trees, learning from trees, and living with trees... These are some of the efforts to preserve and nurture the "tree culture" that is unique to Toma Town.
Touching the life of trees and feeling the warmth of their life.
This experience will nurture a love for the "spiritual home" of Toma Town, which is rich in nature.
