Located almost halfway between Asahikawa and Nayoro, Higashiyama Ski Resort in Washimocho is located along the JR Soya Main Line and National Route 40, and is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the Washimo Exit on the expressway. The powder snow slopes offer courses that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers. The forest course that can be skied down from the second lift is a dynamic course. It is also equipped with a pair lift, night lighting, and a lodge, making it perfect for families.
