Kamui Ski Links is a ski resort with an elevation difference of 600m and a longest course of 4,000m. 2. Pippu Ski Resort (Pippu Town)
Pippu Ski Resort offers a panoramic view of the Kamikawa Basin with the Daisetsuzan mountain range, known as the roof of Hokkaido, in the background. It boasts the largest slope in northern Hokkaido, with nine courses with a wide variety of options to satisfy everyone from beginners to veterans. 3. Asahikawa Santa Present Park (Asahikawa City)
This ski resort is easily accessible from JR Asahikawa Station. There are a variety of courses that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to advanced skiers and those who are used to skiing. There is a wide selection of rental wear and accessories, and in addition to skis and boards, sleds and snowscoots are also available. 4. Nayoro Piyashiri Ski Resort (Nayoro City)
Piyashiri Ski Resort is known for having the best quality snow in Japan. There are nine different courses, so you can choose the one that suits your level of difficulty, and enjoy it according to the snow quality and your mood that day. Not only can you enjoy skiing and snowboarding, but if you're lucky, you might even be able to see the sun pillar phenomenon.

5. Horokanai National Ski Resort
This ski resort is popular with beginners and advanced skiers alike, thanks to its natural environment and steep slopes that are perfect for a challenging ski trip. As one of the snowiest areas in Hokkaido, it receives ample snowfall, and the freezing temperatures at night in Horokanai Town allow you to enjoy fluffy, powdery snow that is almost moisture-free. There are four courses, from beginner to advanced, and the slopes that still have ungroomed snow are a powder freak's paradise.

6. Washimo Town Higashiyama Ski Resort (Washimo Town)
Located almost halfway between Asahikawa and Nayoro, Higashiyama Ski Resort in Washimocho is a powder snow slope. There are courses that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers, and the forest course that you can ski down from the second lift is a dynamic and impressive course. It is also very conveniently located about 5 minutes from the Washimo exit on the expressway.

7. Tenbozan Ski Resort (Rishiri Town)
From the summit you can get a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan, and on clear days you can even see Rebun Island. It is the only ski resort in Rishiri Town. It is fully lit at night, so you can enjoy night skiing.

8. Mikasayama Ski Resort (Esashi Town)
A ski resort where you can enjoy the view of the white drift ice spreading out below you. From early February when the drift ice comes ashore, you can ski down a landscape that can only be found in a town facing the Sea of Okhotsk. The resort has a variety of courses, from long beginner courses to advanced courses with a 26 degree slope.

9. Haboro Town Ski Resort View (Haburo Town)
Haboro Town Ski Resort "View" has two courses that offer views of the vast Sea of Japan and beautiful winter scenery. The courses are aimed at beginners to intermediate skiers, and in addition to skiing and snowboarding, there are also slopes where you can enjoy sledding and other activities. 10. Inosawa Citizen Ski Resort (Asahikawa City)
Inosawa Civic Ski Resort is the only public ski resort in Asahikawa City. It is located about 20 minutes by car from the center of Asahikawa, right next to the residential area of Kamui, making it easily accessible and popular with local residents for many years. The courses are suitable for beginners and children, making it the perfect place for first-time skiers or those who are still getting used to skiing to practice.

11. Hyuga Ski Resort (Shibetsu City)
Although it is small, it is a slope that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers. Skis and snowboards are available for rental, and snowscooting is also available. Night skiing in the high-quality powder snow is also recommended. After skiing, you can have a meal and relax your tired body at Hinata Onsen.

12. Kamoidake International Ski Resort (Utashinai City)
Kamoidake ski resort is one of the largest in the Sorachi region. The terrain is suitable for a wide range of skiers, from beginners to advanced skiers, and is popular with snowboarders and cross-country skiers, allowing you to enjoy winter sports to your heart's content in the great outdoors. The on-site hot spring accommodation is perfect for relaxing after a day of fun in the snowy mountains.

13. Nakatonbetsu Town Kotobuki Ski Resort (Nakatonbetsu Town)
Taking advantage of the heavy snowfall in Nakatonbetsu Town, this ski resort allows you to experience fresh powder. There are many different courses available, from advanced, intermediate and family courses to cross-country skiing, fresh snow courses and board courses. 14. Toumayama Ski Resort (Toma Town)
The lush green Mt. Taima quickly transforms into a ski slope in winter. It has a course with a maximum run length of 240m and a maximum slope of 17 degrees, as well as a free rope lift. The gentle and wide course is safe for beginner skiers and snowboarders, and there is also a course for children to use with sleds.

15. Kodaira Town Boyodai Ski Resort (Kodaira Town)
This ski resort has a spectacular location overlooking Kodaira city and the Sea of Japan. The excellent quality snow on the slopes makes it enjoyable for everyone from beginners to families and advanced skiers, and it's also possible to snowboard. There is a shop and restaurant inside the lodge, so you can take a relaxing break if you get tired.

16. Otoineppu Village
This village-run ski resort is located in Otoineppu, the smallest village in Hokkaido. There are beginner to advanced courses and forest courses, and snowboarders can ski down all of them, making it a great spot for snowboarders. The beginner to advanced courses are also open at night, so you can enjoy a different view from the daytime.

17. Shimokawamachi Ski Resort (Shimokawamachi)
This is a compact ski resort for families, with courses perfect for children. There is also a free ski rope lift, and many families enjoy skiing here on holidays. Although small, there are also three ski jumps next to the ski resort.

18. Hokuryu Town Ski Resort (Hokuryu Town)
This ski resort was built by local residents in 1968 when members of the elementary school PTA and teachers worked together to cut down trees on the mountain, remove the roots, and level the ground. It has powder snow slopes for beginners and is open at night, making it perfect for families and those looking to practice their skills.

19. Toyotomi Onsen Ski Resort (Toyotomi Town)
Located near the hot spring town, this slope is recommended for beginners and families. There are three courses: advanced, intermediate, and beginner, and it also has night skiing facilities and lifts. On clear days, you can see Mt. Rishiri, and after skiing you can enjoy the nearby Toyotomi Onsen.

20. ASHIMOI KANKO Takaho Ski Resort (Numata Town)
A safe and comfortable slope for families. It was reopened in 2022, and the old single-seater lift was replaced with a two-seater lift. It is a family ski resort that can be enjoyed by beginners, but by moving the lift's location, it can be enjoyed in a slightly different way than before. The rest area in the lodge has also become larger and more comfortable.

21. Shokanbetsudake Ski Resort (Mashike Town)
This ski slope is located in a stunning location with the silvery white Mount Shokanbetsu and the deep blue Sea of Japan. There are six courses, including a snowboard course, and everyone from beginners to advanced skiers can enjoy skiing to their heart's content with the spectacular downhill slopes and soaring powder snow.

22. Asahi Ski Resort (Shibetsu City)
This ski resort allows snowboarders to ski down the entire slope, making it a fun place for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. There are two courses, Course A and Course B. The resort is fully equipped with lighting, so you can enjoy night skiing, and the Asahi Alpine Ski Tournament is held here in early February.
