In early May, an 8-km path from JR Noboribetsu Station toward Noboribetsu Onsen is covered with a "flower tunnel. Approximately 2,000 Ezo-Yamazakura cherry trees, planted with great care by local people, gently welcome visitors to Noboribetsu Onsen and Karurusu Onsen.
