In early May, the approximately 8 km road from JR Noboribetsu Station towards Noboribetsu Onsen is covered by a 'tunnel of flowers'. Approximately 2,000 Ezo-yamazakura cherry trees, planted with great care by local people, gently welcome visitors to Noboribetsu Onsen and Karurusu Onsen.
