Takahama Kyoshi's haiku monument

Overview

The work of Japan's representative haiku poet ・ Takahama Kyoshi, from the time he came to Hokkaido for the "Hototogisu Hokkaido Haiku Competition" held in Asahikawa in Shōwa 8 (1933): "Chirping (saezuri) ya constantly two three birds spill and fly."
It was constructed on the Funamiyama Walking Trail in Shōwa 18 (1943).
