Cape Erimo
Overview
Cape Erimo is a place where you can experience the dramatic grandeur of nature as the Hidaka Mountains, known as the backbone of Hokkaido, gradually drop in elevation and sink into the Pacific Ocean. Despite being washed by rough waves for many years, the view of the rocky reef stretching out as far as 2 kilometers offshore is impressive. It is also famous as a spot to watch the first sunrise of the year.
