Sobetsu Town has relatively little snow and is warmer than other parts of Hokkaido, but in winter, there is a ski slope called "Orofu Resort" that can be easily reached by car in about 20 minutes from the center of town, where families and people of all ages can enjoy winter sports. In 2020, a new attraction called "Banana Boat" will be introduced. A banana boat runs through the clear air of Orofure. You can enjoy a powerful feeling of speed. Please try this new winter sport.
