Orofure Ski Resort
Overview
Sobetsu Town enjoys relatively little snow and warm temperatures compared to other parts of Hokkaido, but in winter, it's home to Orofure Resort, a ski slope easily accessible in about 20 minutes by car from the town center, where families and people of all ages can enjoy winter sports. Starting in 2020, a new attraction, the Banana Boat, will be introduced. The Banana Boat races through Orofure's clear air, offering a thrilling feeling of speed. Be sure to try this new winter sport.
