This ski resort boasts a 4km long slope and magnificent views of Mt. Komagatake, Lake Onuma, and Lake Konuma. A ski resort located on Mt. Iwanai at an altitude of 1,086m, at the westernmost tip of the Niseko mountain range. There are three slopes that beginners and intermediate skiers can ski on with confidence, and the panoramic view of the Sea of Japan and the Shakotan Peninsula from near the summit is exceptional. 8. Karurusu Onsen Sanlaiva Ski Resort (Noboribetsu City)
A ski resort with a wide variety of options that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers. This ski resort is a comprehensive leisure facility attached to a hotel in Onuma, a 40-50 minute drive from Hakodate. Pirika Ski Resort, which has preserved the majestic and rustic natural surroundings, boasts the best snow quality in southern Hokkaido. Asahigaoka Ski Resort is known as an important ski resort in the town and in the history of skiing in Japan.
