Meiji Park
"Meiji Park" is located at the base of Cape Nasabu.
It is the second oldest park in Hokkaido, and was built on the site of a ranch established by the national government in 1875.
The three brick silos built in 1932 and 1936 are the symbol of the park.
In October 2006, "Meiji Park of the Ten Views of Nemuro" was recognized as an excellent park that brings character and charm to the area.
It was selected as one of the "100 Best Historical Parks in Japan" by the Executive Committee for the 50th Anniversary of the Enforcement of the Urban Parks Law.
