The Nemuro City Shunkunitai Wild Bird Park Nature Center was built by Nemuro City and opened in April 1995 to preserve the natural environment of Shunkunitai, a treasure trove of wild birds and other wildlife, and to provide environmental education. The Nature Center is staffed by rangers (nature specialists) who survey the natural environment of Shunkunitai and the surrounding area and provide a variety of services to visitors.

1) From JR Nemuro Station (Hanasaki Line), take the Nemuro Kotsu bus bound for "Atsutoko.
Get off at "Toubai" bus stop. 2 minutes on foot.
From Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport, take the bus bound for "Nemuro Bus Terminal".
Get off at the "Toubai" bus stop. 2 minutes on foot.
