Pilika Paleolithic Culture Museum
The Pilika Ruins, a 200,000 m2 Paleolithic site, is located in the Miri River area of Imagane Town. The Pilika Paleolithic Culture Museum exhibits valuable stone tools excavated at the Pilika Ruins and designated as national important cultural properties, and provides visitors with explanatory panels and videos to learn about the environment and culture of the Paleolithic period. The museum also has a hands-on learning room where visitors can try their hand at making stone tools and leather accessories. Reservations are required for the stone tool making experience.
