Teshio Town, located in northern Hokkaido along the Sea of Japan, is a small community with a population of around 3,000. It sits at the mouth of the Teshio River, known as Japan’s northernmost major river, and offers magnificent natural scenery throughout the year. It is accessible from cities such as Wakkanai and Asahikawa.
The climate is cool, with refreshing sea breezes in summer and cold, snowy winters. From lush greenery in spring and summer to tranquil snowy landscapes in winter, each season presents a different natural charm.
