Eniwa City, Hokkaido, is a town located almost halfway between Sapporo City and New Chitose Airport, blessed with excellent transportation access and a mild climate. From an early stage, the city has promoted residential development and advanced its urban infrastructure, including public sewerage, universities, vocational schools, and industrial parks, leading to a steady increase in population (approx. 69,000 people).
Furthermore, the Eniwa Valley, with Shikotsu-Toya National Park as its backdrop, is a popular tourist spot dotted with waterfalls such as "Hakusen-no-taki" and "Rarumanai-no-taki." In recent years, citizen-led flower town development has flourished, and the city has become nationally known as the "City of Gardening."
