The hometown of "Ookami no Momo" juice, living with nature next to Asahikawa.

Population:6,500
Located almost in the center of Hokkaido, in the central part of the Kamikawa Subprefecture, the town is adjacent to Wassamu Town and Asahikawa City, Hokkaido's second-largest city. It is surrounded by low mountains, forming a basin-like topography overall, and the Osarappe River, which flows into the Ishikari River, runs through its center from north to south.
Takasu Town, known for its tomato juice "Ookami no Momo," offers the convenience of being about a 25-minute drive from JR Asahikawa Station, while also providing a comfortable living environment surrounded by rich nature.
Originally a supplier of high-quality agricultural products, including rice cultivation that is among the best in Hokkaido in both quality and yield, and the production of high-value-added cucumbers, the town is now aiming to form a regional complex industry that integrates agriculture, commerce, and industry through active business attraction.
Access to the Sapporo area has also become easier with the opening of the Asahikawa-Takasu and Asahikawa-Kita interchanges.
