SPOT
Palette Hills
With the sentiment, "a hill that creates the nature of the four seasons as if various colors are created on a palette," it was named. Utilizing Takasu Town's rich nature, townspeople and the administration are working together as one to advance maintenance such as tree planting.
From the observatory, the Daisetsuzan mountain range can be viewed entirely, and in May, the hill is adorned with full-bloom cherry blossoms. In addition to "Sakura Festa" and "Night Cherry Blossom Light-up" held during the cherry blossom season, it is also utilized for star gazing, photography classes, and music events, etc., making use of the natural environment.
