Palette Hills
Palette Hills is a forest of recreation and relaxation for everyone to enjoy.
The name "Palette Hills" is derived from the idea of "hills that produce nature in each of the four seasons, just as various colors are produced on a palette. Taking advantage of the rich nature of Takasu Town, the town's residents and administration are working together to plant trees and otherwise improve the area.
From the observatory, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Daisetsuzan mountain range, and the hill is decorated with cherry blossoms in full bloom in May. In addition to the "Sakura Festa" and "Night Cherry Blossom Lighting" held during the cherry blossom season, the natural environment is also used for stargazing, photography classes, and musical events.
