SPOT
Palette Hills
The name was given with the idea of 'a hill that produces the nature of the four seasons, just as various colors are created on a palette.'
Making use of the rich nature of Takasu Town, the townspeople and the administration are working together to develop the area, including planting trees.
From the observatory, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Daisetsuzan mountain range, and in May, the hill is colored with cherry blossoms in full bloom. In addition to the 'Sakura Festa' and 'Night Cherry Blossom Light-up' held during the cherry blossom season, it is also used for stargazing, photography classes, and music events that take advantage of the natural environment.
