Did you know that the light-textured rice flour snack "Fuwatto" often seen in supermarkets is available only in Hokkaido in "Shaketo Ishikari Nabe Flavor" and "Fuwatto Haskap Aronia Flavor"? When you hear "Hokkaido limited," you can't help but try them... What are the flavors?

Let's start with "Shaketto Ishikari Nabe Flavor. When you open the package, you can smell the savory aroma of miso. Then, take a bite.

The crispy texture is filled with the taste of salmon, which is unique to Ishikari nabe! It is a perfect accompaniment to sake. I keep repeating the same sequence: shaketto, sake, shaketto, sake, and on and on. I can't stop!

Next is the "Fluffy Haskap Aronia Flavor" that I'm curious about. I can't imagine what it tastes like at all... When I opened it, it looks pink and pretty. Then, I took a bite of this one too.

The texture is soft and melting, and there is a slight sweetness with a refreshing sourness. This one seems to go well with carbonated beverages such as cola or soda!

These products are actually a collaboration with Chitose High School in Hokkaido. This was made possible by the fact that the Hokkaido factory of "Fluffy" is located in Chitose City. The Chitose River is known as the "Home of Salmon" and Haskap and Aronia are specialty products of Chitose. The package design was also thought up by high school students.

Chitose high school students wanted to promote their hometown! If you see these sweets in supermarkets or souvenir shops, please pick them up!
