An airplane with "Snow Miku," a character supporting Hokkaido, on its fuselage arrived at Sapporo Okadama Airport on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. The plane started its operation in the afternoon of the same day, carrying the general public.

This tie-up was decided as a perfect opportunity to enliven the skies of Hokkaido with Snow Miku, as the theme of her costume for the "SNOW MIKU 2023" festival to be held in 2023 is "the sky pattern inspired by Hokkaido's winter, The decision was made to hold this event.

HAC (Hokkaido Air System) started its service in 1998 as a regional airline in Hokkaido, and 2023 will be its 25th anniversary. The wrapping plane will also feature the catchphrase for the tie-up, as well as a sign to that effect.

On December 27, an unveiling event was held at Sapporo Okadama Airport. The event was broadcast live on the Internet.

The ATR42-600 aircraft that was wrapped this time is an eco-friendly aircraft that can operate with much less fuel consumption than a jet aircraft, which is friendly to the nature of Hokkaido. All passengers can equally enjoy the magnificent view of Hokkaido from every seat.
