One of Hokkaido's soul foods is "Zangi," a juicy deep-fried chicken dish. Pepsi Zero Zangi-Specific Cola," which goes great with Zangi, will go on sale on May 9 (Tuesday) only in Hokkaido.
What in the world is "Zangi-exclusive Cola"?
Suntory Foods International Limited, which sells Pepsi Cola, launched "Pepsi Zangi Zero Zangi Cola" in June last year and "Pepsi Zangi Zangi Cola for Fried Chicken" in December last year for a limited time. This third product in the series was developed for the first time in Japan, focusing on the compatibility between the Hokkaido specialty Zangi and the cola drink.

Pepsi Zero Zangi-Only" is all about the Zangi. The cola's distinctive aroma and sweetness are kept to a minimum so that the garlic and soy sauce-soaked zangi can stand out. It also contains dietary fiber, which helps the oil to run clear and leaves a refreshing aftertaste.
