AOAO SAPPORO, the much talked-about urban aquarium that opened in Sapporo in July 2023, is collaborating with the popular "TABEKKO DOBUTSU! The "TABEKO Aquarium meets AOAO SAPPORO" will be held for approximately three months starting in December 2023. TABEKKO Animal" is a bite-sized biscuit in the shape of animals, and has been a long-selling confectionery celebrating its 45th anniversary since its birth. Recently, concept cafes and pop-up stores featuring the characters have opened across the country, making it popular among a wide range of people.

The "TABEKO AQUARIUM meets AOAO SAPPORO," a collaboration with "TABEKO AQUARIUM," one of the "TABEKO Animal" series, will run for approximately three months from December 6, 2023 (Wednesday) to February 29, 2024 (Thursday). The "TABEKKO AQUARIUM" friends will explore the charms and wonders of various living creatures.

The "Friends of the TABEKO Aquarium Panel," which will appear in six locations throughout the aquarium during the event period, will introduce the attractions of each area in an easy-to-understand manner by the friends of the "TABEKO Aquarium. In addition, a guidebook with a quiz rally featuring aquarium creatures and introducing their charms and wonders will be available as a "Wonder Book.

The "Green Room" on the 6th floor, where visitors can spend a relaxing time in a botanical garden-like space, will be transformed into the "Tabekko Room" for a limited time! There will be a photo spot where you can take pictures with the "TABEKKO Aquarium" friends, a workshop where you can make your own original collaboration tote bag, and sales of TABEKKO animal goods and snacks. Collaboration clear files only available here will be on sale from mid-December.

Crocodiles and chicks, friends of "TABEKKO DOBUTSU", will appear at AOAO SAPPORO! A meet and greet event will be held where you can enjoy taking pictures with the "TABEKOKO DOBUTSU" friends.

A giant 3-meter-high "Wonder Tree" will appear at the entrance, decorated with tags that describe the charms of the creatures discovered by the staff in charge of creatures, as well as characters and goods from the TABEKO Aquarium.
