The 72nd Doshin Noryo Fireworks Festival" with approx. 4,000 fireworks lighting up the night sky.
On the first night of August 1, after the opening ceremony and ceremonies are held at the Asahibashi Bridge on the Ishikari River, a fireworks display will be held to open the festival. About 4,000 fireworks, including creative fireworks and various starmines, will color the summer night sky of Asahikawa.

The 72nd Doshin Noryo Fireworks Festival will be held on August 2 (Fri.), with the "Citizens' Dance Parade" and the "YOSAKOI Soran Night" featuring a parade of local citizens.
On the second day, a "Citizens' Dance Parade" will be held at Kaimono Park, with a total of approximately 2,000 citizens dancing to the Kanko Asahikawa Ondo (Sightseeing Asahikawa Ondo). On the evening of the second day, a "YOSAKOI Soran Night" stage will be held, where teams from the Kamikawa Chuo Branch of YOSAKOI Soran will perform their splendid and powerful dances.

Day 3: Saturday, August 3] "Taisetsu Rengo Mikoshi (Taisetsu United Mikoshi)," the flower of the festival & "Retsu Natsu Tanabata Matsuri (Festival of the Seven Dusk Rising Sun)," the finale of the festival.
On the final day, the "Taisetsu Rengo Mikoshi", the flower of the Asahikawa Summer Festival, will be held. The mikoshi will be carried in a parade through Kaimono Park with a single, united call.
The finale of the festival is the "Resshatsu Tanabata Festival. The festival concludes with the Taiko Yosakoi Festival, a dynamic procession of floats, a moving finale, and other creative events.
