What inspired you to start making miniatures?
I could not forget the fun I had when I created a miniature grocery store as a free research project during summer vacation in elementary school.
My first work was a miniature bread. When I made "chikuwa bread," a well-known bread in Hokkaido, I felt a sense of accomplishment similar to when I completed my free research project.
That was the beginning of my recreation of my favorite Hokkaido food.

Actually, I participated in the program myself seven years ago, and this is an image that was left on my mother's phone. I recreated a Hokkaido izakaya where people can have fun just by watching the show, "Toast from the Brightest Hour.

I left my beloved Hokkaido when I got married. At first, I was nostalgic for my hometown with miniatures of Hokkaido, but now I am creating miniatures with the desire to contribute to my beloved hometown by expressing the charm of Hokkaido in miniature.
