This is the second part of an interview with the "Okushiri Innovation Division (OID)," a club for club activities that works to solve the problem of "club activity expedition expenses," a problem unique to high schools on remote islands! OID will hold "Okushiri Marche" at Hakodate Siesta on October 31 and November 1! We ask them about what they are preparing now, their recommended products, and their love for Okushiri Island!

Please tell us what you are preparing now for "Okushiri Marche" to be held on October 31 and November 1!

In preparation for the Marche, we are ordering the new OID original trainers, preparing an income and expenditure plan with a list of items to be sold, and creating pop-ups to be displayed during the sales. There is quite a lot of paperwork right now, and we are all working on that work together. Another designer in the department is working on the design, and the design is complete! We will also be selling them online! (The design of this year's sweatshirt design)

Please tell us about the product lineup of "Okushiri Marche"!

・Two kinds of wine and one wine cake from Okushiri Winery on Okushiri Island!
OKUSHIRI CIDER, a very tasty cider sold only in Okushiri Island
・3 kinds of bread and 2 kinds of cakes (pound cake and cheese cake) from "cafe faro", the only cafe in Okushiri
・Tsuji souvenir store on the 2nd floor of Okushiri Port Ferry TerminalTsuji Souvenir Shop on the 2nd floor of Okushiri Port Ferry Terminal offers three kinds of bread and two kinds of cake (pound cake and cheesecake) from "safe faro"! We will sell them with the cooperation of the store owners! The selection of alcohol and other drinks is based on feedback from teachers and islanders who have had them, as well asdirect recommendations fromOkushiriwinery staff. What is everyone's "special recommendation! products?

We recommend "Salt Bread" from Cafe faro in Okushiri Island! It's very delicious! I recommend "Okushiri cider"! It's really good! Okushiri Merlot Wine Cake from Okushiri Winery! This product contains wine and minors are not allowed to eat it. ...... I often hear that it is very delicious, so I am curious to try it and wonder what it tastes like. I can't wait to try it when I am old enough to eat it! I have never had Okushiri wine, but it is from Okushiri Winery. I was interested in it when I heard about the producers, and it has a very good reputation among the teachers and people on the island! (A scene from last year's Okushiri Marche)

Last question! What do you like about Okushiri Island?

I love Okushiri Island because of its rich nature, especially the beautiful ocean! I go to the beach every week in summer. I can do many things that I cannot do in my hometown and feel the warmth of the people on the island! The lady who runs the snack bar near my dorm always says to me, "Welcome back! She always says, "Welcome back!When I came home yesterday, I thought she was walking toward me with something, but she gave me a monaka and said, "Here, I'll give you this! She gave me a Monaka! There are many kind people who are very friendly to us! First of all, the sea is beautiful and so are the stars. The food is also delicious. ...... Even without cram school and other "city things", I don't have any free time at all. I really love this place because there are so many fun things to do outside. By the way, the omu-rice in the dormitory is the best!(Sea of Okushiri Island and Nabetsuru Iwa) The sea is really beautiful after all! The bus that I take to school runs along the sea, and the view from the window is so beautiful. In the morning, the sun's rays reflect off the surface of the ocean and it is so beautiful. I rented a snorkel once to look at the bottom of the sea and it was so clear and beautiful. ...... Please come to Okushiri Island and dive! I want to live in Okushiri Island all the time, just one day away from the island makes me want to go back. My friend's parents once took me on a round-the-clock tour of Okushiri Island and it was beautiful from every angle. The mountains are beautiful, the ocean is beautiful, it is beautiful from high places and even when you just stand still, it is beautiful forever. You could stay there forever and never get tired of it!

MUJI 1F special venue (24-1 Honmachi, Hakodate) [ Overview] Once a month, Siesta Hakodate in Hakodate holds a local specialty food fair to sell and promote local products. The event is held once a month at Siesta Hakodate in Hakodate to sell and promote local products. Okushiri High School OID also wants to promote Okushiri High School and the charm of Okushiri Island, and has been holding "Okushiri Marche" since last year 2019, selling Okushiri Island's specialty products and original goods created by OID. Many people have visited us so far, and we were able to sell out both of the marche we held in July and November last year.
