"Bay lounge coffee" is a cafe operated by Ikeshita Sangyo, a seafood processing company in Hiroo. Ikeshita Sangyo's signature product is the "O-toro Iwashi," a very fatty sardine. The cafe's lunch menu features this exquisite sardine in dishes like the "O-toro Iwashi Fry Set Meal" and the "O-toro Iwashi Sashimi Set Meal."

During lunchtime, they also offer several other menus featuring an abundance of seafood like sailfin poacher (hakkaku), whelk (tsubu), and squid, making it hard to choose every time. The cafe is also serious about its coffee, making it a popular spot for a coffee break. The beans are from "The Rising Sun Coffee," a brand produced by actor Kenji Sakaguchi. You can enjoy freshly brewed coffee in-house or get it to go. The shop also sells coffee beans.

A major feature of Hiroo within the Tokachi region is its access to the sea. Many people enjoy surfing in the "Funbe" area along National Route 336, also known as the "Ogon Doro" (Golden Road). On days with good waves, many surfers visit the cafe. Incidentally, the owner, Mr. Ikeshita, also loves surfing and coffee. The space is meticulously designed to be the kind of place the owner himself would want to frequent, making it incredibly comfortable and full of life.
