Three Must-Sees on Rebun Island Recommended by Megumi Miura / Anojin no Tokuyo Book
Rebun Island is known as Japan's northernmost island. Also known as the "floating island of flowers," Rebun Island is home to some 300 species of alpine plants that bloom from spring to summer. The island is also rich in sea urchins, kelp, and other gifts from the sea, and is visited by many tourists every year. Ms. Megumi Miura, who fell in love with Rebun Island and moved to the island to open a handmade accessory store, will tell us about the charms of Rebun Island in secret.
What is it about Rebun Island that attracts you so much?
A place where time passes slowly
A "special place": Menou Beach
You can enjoy beachcombing at the agate beach on the Motochi Coast of Rebun Island, where small "agate stones," sea glass, and shells are washed up. At dusk, it is a spectacular spot with a beautiful sunset on the horizon.
