Just a 3-minute walk from Odori Station, ONIYANMA COFFEE&BEER is fully equipped with an espresso machine and grinder, where you can enjoy specialty coffee brewed by a skilled barista. Let's explore the charms of this cafe, where coffee lovers can savor a blissful cup.

The shop's name comes from its "commitment to coffee"

ONIYANMA COFFEE&BEER

The cafe has a calm and comfortable atmosphere

The cafe has many tables for two to four people, making it a comfortable place for solo visitors to relax. The name "Oniyanma" (a type of giant dragonfly) was inspired by the image of the Ezoyanma dragonfly taking flight from Hokkaido to the world, combined with the aim to be an "oni" (a demon or master) of their craft—a professional with an uncompromising dedication to every step, from selecting the coffee beans to serving the final cup with sincerity for the customers.

Furthermore, the dragonfly in the logo is entirely formed by hiragana characters, and if you look closely, you can see the word "oniyanma" (おにやんま). The more you learn about this place, the more you find little details that make you think, "I love this!"

An extensive lunch menu and craft beer are also available

The cafe opens at 8 AM, making it perfect for breakfast. If you visit in the morning, you must try the morning set! The toast is incredibly fluffy and you can really taste the flavor of the wheat. This is because they use bread made with Hokkaido wheat from the popular Sapporo bakery "boulangerie Paume."

Set C: "Cheese Honey Toast." Comes with a drink (Americano) for 880 yen. You can change the drink for an additional fee.

For lunch, you can enjoy dishes like the healthy yet filling "Veggie Taco Rice" for 930 yen, or the "Lotus Root Keema Curry" for 880 yen, where you can choose between brown rice or coffee-infused brown rice. You can also enjoy their signature coffee or caffe latte at a discount when ordered as part of a lunch set. As the name suggests, the cafe also serves craft beer. They recently started carrying craft beer from the Sapporo brewery "Streetlight Brewing."

All the sweets are popular! The tiramisu is also recommended

They also have a rich variety of sweets like Catalana, chiffon cake, and black sesame cheesecake! The desserts, created by pastry chef Ms. Nakamura, are all exquisite. The "Tiramisu," made from scratch starting with the mascarpone, is especially popular. It's neither too heavy nor too light. The perfect balance is so delicious that you'll finish it in no time. Every dessert I've tried pairs perfectly with their coffee.
