"Absolutely Stunning!" Seals Form a Perfect "Seal Flower" on Cue in a Viral Video from Hokkaido.
A heartwarming video from the "Okhotsk Tokkari Center Seal Land," a protective facility specializing in seals in Mombetsu, Hokkaido, is making waves online. It beautifully captures the special bond between the keepers and the seals.

A seal flower has bloomed in our plaza,
so we're delivering it to all of you 🌼💌
But making this flower bloom is quite a task...
It takes time, and comes together very... slowly ⌛️
They're so free-spirited 🗽 that even the keepers are exasperated...
To see how it's made, please watch the second video 🎥
In comparison, the first video is perfect ✨
The keeper's favorite part in the first video is
the chubby wobble 🦭🦭 after the 'Okay' signal 💭

The seals gathering around the keeper for feeding time look just like a large blooming flower! The keeper's cheerful calls of "Yes, that's it, you're doing great!" and the seals' response clearly show their close and friendly relationship.
The post has received many heartwarming comments, such as, "What an adorable flower!" "The keepers who built such a trusting relationship are amazing," and "The seal resting its flipper on its neighbor's shoulder is so cute," bringing joy to many viewers.
The Free-Spirited Seals! A Flower That Blooms Ever So Slowly
Even for experienced keepers, making this magnificent flower bloom is a challenge. When they call out, "Everyone, gather 'round!" the carefree seals don't assemble so easily. They approach one by one, gradually.
The very free-spirited seals. The keeper chuckles, "I said, 'gather 'round'…"
They slowly gather as their names are called.
The moody Naomi-chan (top right) is reluctant to join in.
Finally, everyone's here! "Okay!"
At Seal Land, feeding time happens five times a day, where you can watch the seals being fed while listening to the keeper's explanations. (※Visitors cannot feed the seals directly.) When you visit Mombetsu, be sure to see these seals up close!
