What is the Hokkaido e-Water Project?
The Hokkaido e-Water Project is a project to protect Hokkaido's water environment, with the aim of protecting Hokkaido's abundant and beautiful natural environment, centered around water, and passing it on to the next generation. Based on the Partnership Agreement on Environmental Conservation concluded between Hokkaido and Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. in November 2009, this initiative is undertaken in collaboration between Hokkaido, the Hokkaido Environment Foundation, and Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd.

A "character supporting Hokkaido" developed by Crypton Future Media, Inc. It was born when a "pure white snow sculpture of Hatsune Miku" was made at the Sapporo Snow Festival in 2010. Since then, the "SNOW MIKU" festival, starring Snow Miku, has been held every year in Hokkaido. The costume design for Snow Miku at the festival is open to the public with a set theme each year, and the theme for 2026 has been decided as "Happy Patisserie". Currently, she serves as an ambassador for various initiatives to enliven Hokkaido, and is expanding her support in many areas, such as collaborating with companies and characters. She has also been active as a Sapporo tourism ambassador since September 2024. (The rabbit Yukine next to her is Snow Miku's pet character.)
