"Maybe it's a fish." "It's really lively." The "welcome home dance" of dogs welcoming their owners is soothing. "It makes the fatigue of work go away."
It's March, and spring is just around the corner, but there is still snow piled up in many places in Hokkaido. A video of a Kai dog happily celebrating its owner's return outdoors has become a hot topic, with people saying it's "too adorable."

The video shows a Kai dog hopping out from behind a pile of snow. Watching it squirm and jump, people commented, "I wonder if it's a fish," "If I was greeted like this, all the fatigue from work would disappear," and "I'm bursting with love."
The dog who performed the energetic "Welcome Home Dance" was "Roku", who lives in Hokkaido. He usually stays indoors, but on sunny days he stays in the garden by himself. According to his owner, he often greets his owner by jumping up, just like this time. On this day, they couldn't see each other because of the snow, so perhaps he sensed his owner's presence and came out.

Roku-kun is shy and keeps his distance from people he meets for the first time, but once he realizes that he likes someone, he is overjoyed to meet them. If he was greeted like this, it would surely blow away all the fatigue of everyday life! It was a healing post that made me smile without even realizing it.
