"So fluffy...so plump..." The round baby seal is so cute "I want to look at it forever"

A baby seal was born in March this year at the Okhotsk Tokkari Center Seal Land, a seal conservation facility in Monbetsu, Hokkaido. Many people are taking to social media to watch the baby grow up healthily.

A fluffy baby runs around the poolside with great enthusiasm. Comments such as "He's like an angel," "He's so fluffy and cute," and "I want to look at him every day" were posted, and the post received a great response of over 40,000 likes.

"Moon-chan" grows white fur and grows

The photo in the post shows a baby ringed seal that was named "Tsuki" in April this year. Fans have affectionately nicknamed him "Tsuki-chan." Immediately after birth, the baby was covered in fluffy white fur, but after the "molting season" in which its fur is replaced, it has taken on the seal's characteristic fur color.

There are lots of unique seals at the Tokkari Center!

The poster, Tokoro, says that the best thing about the Tokkari Center is the large number of seals. From baby seals to senior seals, you can see the unique appearances of seals of different ages and personalities, and see various interactions with the zookeepers. He also says that one of the big attractions is that it's "not just a place to think they're cute, but also a place that makes you think about the environment surrounding the seals."

"Tsuki-chan is a big foodie. I want her to keep eating a lot and grow up to be just like the round moon!" says Tokoro-san. We can't take our eyes off Tsuki-chan as she grows up healthy.
