Sapporo Parfait Tour (3) Perfect for a date! CAFE NOYMOND, where Naganuma Ice Cream's luxurious parfaits are popular
Excellent access! Conveniently located near Tanukikoji and Susukino

Look for the impressive white building on the corner
CAFE NOYMOND is located at Minami 3 Nishi 2, Chuo-ku, Sapporo. It is on the second floor of a white building facing the intersection. It is close to Tanukikoji Shopping Street and about a 3-minute walk from Susukino Station, making it an easy location to stop by for a parfait after dinner. Another great thing about it is that it opens at 1pm. There is often a line on weekends, but around 4pm on weekdays it is relatively quiet, so you will likely be able to get in without lining up and choose your preferred seat.

Once you open the entrance door, head up the stairs to the second floor. There is a tonkatsu restaurant on the first floor.

Natural atmosphere interior with white walls
The high ceilings create an open space, and the simplicity is combined with the warmth of wood.

Table seating by the wall
There are a total of 28 seats. In addition to tables for four, there are also spacious sofa seats where groups of five or six can sit together, and two-seater seats by the window that look very comfortable. Each person must order one item.

The classic and extremely popular "Strawberry Parfait"

The ever-popular "Strawberry Parfait" 1,540 yen
When I opened the menu, I saw a lineup of popular parfaits, including strawberry parfait and pistachio parfait. There was a wide variety, and they all looked delicious. You order directly from the staff, so you can ask about things you don't understand, like what's in the parfait. I ordered the "Strawberry Parfait," which is said to be a constant favorite no matter the season. The pink gelato was topped with plenty of bright red strawberries, making it super cute.

A cute strawberry-filled visual
It uses three types of gelato: strawberry, white chocolate, and milk. The gelato is made using 100% raw milk from Hokkaido, so it is rich and has a strong milky taste.

Shiratama hidden at the bottom of the glass
After eating the cold gelato, you will be presented with a crunchy feuilletine, custard cream, strawberry sauce, and shiratama. At NOYMOND, most parfaits, except for the alcohol parfaits, contain shiratama. It is filling and has a volume that is perfect for when you are a little hungry.
By the way, if you divide parfaits into "gelato type" with lots of ice cream and sorbet, "fruit type" with seasonal fruits as the main ingredient, and "sweets type" with lots of cake, crumble, and cream, NOYMOND is a "gelato type". It is recommended for people who love delicious ice cream and want to eat a lot!
Reasonably priced drink sets are available for an additional 200 yen

Strawberry parfait and Kurosengoku tea set
We recommend ordering a parfait with a drink set for an additional 200 yen. It's a great deal as it's less than half the price of ordering a drink separately. You can also choose from coffee (hot/iced), black tea (hot/iced), Kurosengoku tea (hot/iced), orange juice, and apple juice.

The nostalgic Japanese-style tea utensils are also cute Kurosengoku tea
A menu item unique to NOYMOND is the organic Kurosengoku tea. It is a rare tea made from Kurosengoku soybeans, black soybeans native to Hokkaido. Kurosengoku soybeans, which were mainly grown in the Tokachi region, have seen a sharp decline in production due to the labor-intensive nature of their cultivation. At one time they were thought to be extinct, but in the 2000s the original species of Kurosengoku soybeans was discovered and they were revived. Thanks to the efforts of producers, delicious Kurosengoku tea is now available to drink. Warm Kurosengoku tea has a gentle flavor that brings out the aroma of the beans, and goes well with cold parfaits. It's a comforting taste.
If you want to drink alcohol with your parfait, we recommend ordering a sour or beer instead of the drink set. They have a particularly wide variety of beers, including Guinness, Heineken, Hoegaarden, and Otaru Beer.
A wide variety of options, including "White Parfait" and "Alcohol Parfait"

"White Parfait" and "Alcohol Parfait" served in cute glasses
In addition to the strawberry parfait, Neumond also has a selection of cute and delicious parfaits. I'll introduce two of them that I've tried before. On the left side of the photo is the "White Parfait" (1,540 yen), and on the right is the "Alcohol Parfait" (1,540 yen).

Three types of gelato and cream, all white, white, white
The "White Parfait" has a cute pure white appearance reminiscent of the snow in Sapporo. As the name suggests, it is completely white from top to bottom. The glass is filled with milk pudding and shiratama, and has a smooth and gentle taste. The three white gelato toppings are each different in flavor: white chocolate, milk, and Okhotsk salt. This parfait is perfect for those who want to enjoy a full, rich taste of gelato.

Sour fruit accents on smooth gelato
The vividly colored "Alcohol Parfait" (1,540 yen) is beautiful. Although it doesn't have a strong alcoholic taste, please note that minors cannot order this. It is refreshing, like a frozen cocktail. The gelato topping is Niagara from Otaru Brewery. Inside the glass is orange and sangria gelato. It is recommended after a meal such as rich ramen, or on a hot day.

Look for the menu sign outside the shop that reads "Sapporo Shime Parfait"
CAFE NOYMOND offers a wide variety of parfaits, including limited-time items, so you can choose from a wide variety. The popular parfait and drink set can be enjoyed for under 2,000 yen, making it a shop you'll want to visit again and again.
