"Want to spend some time relaxing?" A "place in town" where you can drop in for lunch or in the evening, using plenty of local ingredients found in Urahoro, Tokachi, Hokkaido
Love for Urahoro in my heart. Returning to my hometown to start a business.
A calming and gentle atmosphere inside the store
The owner, Tomomi, is originally from Urahoro Town. After working as a dental hygienist in Obihiro, she decided to pursue her passion for cooking and changed jobs at the age of 30. After gaining experience working at Morihiko Coffee and the restaurant Gohanya Haruya in Sapporo for around four years, she made a U-turn and returned to the town to open her own restaurant.
The store name "futatsuki" (moon moon) is a reference to Tomomi's name, "Tomo."

Renovations took about six months from there, and the resulting complex space now houses the independently operated "Ugen Hair Salon" and "Futatsuki Cafe" within the same building.
The entrance is at the end of a simple corridor past the beauty salon.
The restaurant has tables for two and four, as well as a counter. It's a great place to relax by yourself, spend time with your partner, or have a fun time with about four people! The interior is decorated with antiques carefully selected by the owner, giving it a very cute look.
Use ingredients from Tokachi and Urahoro! Perfect for lunch, a cafe, or a drink after work!
The popular "Daily Lunch Plate" is 1,200 yen
The restaurant's signature menu item is the "Daily Lunch Plate." It's a plate featuring a generous selection of side dishes, centered around locally grown vegetables, and comes with rice, miso soup, and tea. Because it's limited to 10 servings per day, it's not uncommon for it to sell out immediately after opening. On this day, the menu included a plentiful selection of deep-fried tofu in a soy sauce sauce, hamburger steak with onion sauce, spicy curry, spinach and red radish dressed with mustard, carrot and burdock with homemade mayonnaise, and spring rolls made with yam and red radish.
During cafe time, they offer hand-dripped coffee made with home-roasted beans, as well as desserts such as cheesecake and chocolate cake, making it the perfect space for those who want to relax.

Dinner is basically à la carte, but course meals can be arranged upon request. All wines are natural, starting from 850 yen per glass. Beer options include Sapporo craft beer "Streetlight Brewing" and Hokkaido Classic.

You can come alone without any hesitation, and even just have a cup of coffee in the evening. One of the charms of "Cafe Futatsuki" is not only the joy of eating and drinking delicious food, but also the opportunity to meet and interact with wonderful local friends.
A new place in the city that you'll want to drop in to.
>In keeping with this vision, Cafe Futatsuki aims to be a place where anyone can drop in, while cherishing connections with the local people. A place that feels like home, where you can relax and be yourself. This atmosphere has been nurtured naturally through the everyday activities of the cafe.
"We had a lot of event stalls in 2025, so I'd like to open the shop properly in 2026 so that even more people can enjoy this space," says Tomomi. She also says she's interested in getting a hunting license and using venison in her shop. As her family is a farming family, she said she wants to further deepen her communication with producers in town and incorporate even more local ingredients.
Local materials, a handmade space, and a sense of distance from people. Cafe Futatsuki sits quietly alongside the daily life of the town of Urahoro.
