Located in the Tokachi forests of Hokkaido, Feriendorf is a rare glamping resort where you can stay with your pet. This time we will introduce a pet cottage. Its German-style exterior stands out in the forest.

Many guests visit from urban areas such as Sapporo and Kitahiroshima, and it is about a three and a half hour drive from Sapporo. It is just the right distance to visit on a family drive.

Upon arrival, you'll be surprised by the vast grounds of approximately 330,000 square meters spread out in the forest. There are rows of log cottages and glamping tents, offering the comforting warmth of wood. Of the 90 cottages, 45 are available for overnight stays and are equipped with kitchens and showers, ensuring a comfortable stay. Of these, the 9 pet cottages are equipped with facilities that dog lovers will appreciate, and can accommodate dogs of all sizes, from small to large. There are cages inside the rooms, and pets can roam freely on the first floor. This time, we actually brought our pets and spent some time there.

In addition to dogs, pet cottages also allow small animals such as parakeets and rabbits to be brought in cages. The grounds also feature a dog run that boasts an area of approximately 800 square meters, as well as walking paths surrounded by greenery, making it the ideal environment for spending a relaxing time with your dog. Pet amenities are also available, including jerky made from venison killed by local hunters, making your trip with your pet even more special.

There are three types of BBQ courses, as well as an indoor shabu-shabu course.

On the terrace next to the cottage, you can finally experience the true joy of glamping! You can enjoy an authentic BBQ without having to bring anything. There are three recommended BBQ courses for dinner. The most popular "Irodori" course includes main dishes such as "Kamikomi Pork Steak," "Nakasatsunai Country Chicken BBQ Chicken," and "Lamb," as well as around eight other dishes that will enhance your outdoor mood, such as cold-smoked edamame, ajillo, and roasted marshmallows. The luxurious lineup, which makes generous use of local ingredients from Tokachi, Hokkaido, is truly appealing.

The most popular BBQ course is the "Irodori" course. The staff will light the charcoal for you, so even beginners can enjoy it!

The shop sells nuts and mayonnaise handmade at the on-site cold smoking facility "REIKUN," as well as craft beer and wine exclusive to Fairiendorf. Bring along snacks and alcohol you've purchased here to make your BBQ time even more enjoyable! Enjoying a meal surrounded by nature is exceptional, and you can relax and enjoy a meal with your dog on the pet-friendly terrace seats.

What's more, guests staying at the hotel can also use the hot springs and sauna at the adjacent Tokachi Airport Spa Sora for free! The natural moor hot spring, which flows directly from the source, is characterized by its thick, brownish water, and will soothe your travel fatigue to the core. There is also a sauna, relaxation space, and open-air bath, so you can enjoy a relaxing time and forget about time.
