Lake Shikaribetsu Kotan in Shikaoi Town
Lake Shikaribetsu Kotan is a phantom village built on a frozen lake for only 60 days. Kotan means "village" in Ainu language.
All the buildings in the village are made only of ice and snow from the lake. What a surprise, there is even an open-air bath on the lake, and there are activities that can be enjoyed even in winter!

This is a beautiful picture of the "Ice Bar" where the building and glasses are made of ice, and the transparency is beautiful!
Shikaribetsu-ko Cotan" is a fantastic village that appears only for 60 days from the end of January, when the temperature drops and the lake freezes completely.
The bar, stage, chapel, and lodge are all made of ice and snow, and to my surprise, the open-air bath also appears on the frozen lake! I really want to go visit next year!
Beautiful night view of Muroran City
Beautiful stripes appear only on a calm night. The calm Muroran harbor becomes a water mirror, making the lights of factories and the city beautiful.

"The lights of the factories are reflected on the surface of the water in this photo, which seems to condense the liveliness of Muroran!
The shimmering factory nightscape that can be seen only in a manufacturing town. Muroran's nightscape is completely different depending on the point of view, so you will never get bored of it.
Because of the mild weather, the movement of the smoke rising right above you is also powerful.
Deer and the sea in Shari-cho
Drift ice is here again this year!
It was a little early this year!
It gets cold when the drift ice comes, doesn't it?
The deer seemed to be having such a conversation.

You can almost hear the conversation of the deer as they feel the full-fledged arrival of winter!
It makes me wonder if humans are not the only ones who feel the arrival of the season by watching the drifting ice.
The clear air and the blue gradation from the sea to the sky, with a single line of pure white drift ice. Just looking at it, I feel refreshed.
