"How beautiful..." Swans from Siberia have arrived! The magical winter of Lake Kussharo: "Elegant and resilient"
This is Japan's largest caldera lake.
The swans that visit from Siberia to spend the winter look incredibly elegant at first glance, but their struggle to survive on the frozen lake surface against strong winds seemed incredibly harsh.
A pair of ducks was also being blown away by the wind, despite trying to stand their ground on the ice.
The sight of life persevering is always beautiful.
