Maruchan Yakisoba Bento has been loved in Hokkaido for 50 years since its release. In 2025, which marks the turning point, the first collaboration with Hokkaido's supporting characters, Snow Miku and Rabbit Yukine, has been realized. In addition to the release of newly drawn illustrations, special campaigns unique to the 50th anniversary, such as limited-edition projects using in-store POPs and a reprint general election, have begun one after another.

Hokkaido soul food "Maruchan Yakisoba Bento"

Maruchan Yakisoba Bento, a beloved cup of Hokkaido's classic yakisoba, has been loved by generations since its release in 1975, and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Widely known by the nickname "Yakiben," it is also well-known for its memorable commercial with the catchphrase "Tamaran♪ Tomaran♪."

This time, a special collaboration between the Yakisoba Bento and Hokkaido-supporting characters Snow Miku and Rabbit Yukine has begun. A collaboration visual drawn by KEI has been released. The special 50th anniversary visual features Snow Miku holding a Yakisoba Bento in both hands, while Rabbit Yukine holds a soup mug, a reference to the Chinese soup that comes with the Yakisoba Bento.

The campaign will begin in November 2025

By holding your smartphone over the collaboration POPs installed in supermarkets and other locations in Hokkaido, you can watch an exclusive collaboration video. Also, if you watch the exclusive video to the end, you can participate in the "Yakisoba Bento Reprint General Election," where you can vote for the product you want to see reprinted. All voters will receive an original smartphone wallpaper as a gift, so don't miss out! (Downloads are limited to one per person.)
