Tomato Juice from Harahachifarm
Harahachifarm's tomato juice is made from 100% tomatoes harvested from Harahachifarm's JAS-certified organic fields. It is additive-free and contains no salt.
Harahachifarm uses no chemical fertilizers, fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, or hormones in its thorough organic farming.
Everything from sowing the seeds to bottling is done by Mr. and Mrs. Nakamura.
The tomato juice is a perfect balance of bright color, thick and thick juice, strong sweetness, and refreshing acidity, which you can drink as much as you want.
The secret to the delicious taste is the tomatoes used to make the tomato juice.
The tomatoes used to make the juice are a mix of medium and small tomatoes.
Cindy sweet, which is also the ingredient of tomato juice, takes four and a half months to sow seeds, grow seedlings, plant them in plastic greenhouses, and harvest them.
During the four and a half months of cultivation, no pesticides or natural pesticides, including those allowed by organic JAS, are used, no ready-made fertilizers are used, fish meal, rice bran, scallop lime, etc., are mixed in-house and fed only as needed, weeding is done entirely by hand since no herbicides are used, and no disposable plastic mulch, which is commonly used, is used. They do not use herbicides, so all weeding is done by hand, and they do not use disposable plastic mulch, which is commonly used.
There are many tomatoes that are just sweet, but these tomatoes have a very good balance of sweetness and acidity and a rich flavor.
Thoughts of Harahachi Farm
We asked Mr. Nakamura of Harahachi Farm about his thoughts and commitment to tomatoes.
What is the origin of Harahachi Farm?
Mr. Nakamura, Harahachi Farm
It comes from the Japanese phrase "eight portions of a stomach," and I think it is important to have the spirit of "eight portions of a stomach," which leaves room for more energy in everything. I believe that we can continue farming for a long time by not seeking perfection and being satisfied with just eight portions and leaving some extra energy.
What is Harahachi Farm's commitment to "farming "?
Mr. Nakamura, Harahachi Farm
We are committed to organic farming and cultivation methods that place as little burden on the environment as possible.
