Hokkaido Mirai Notebook" is a collection of Hokkaido's scenery that you would like to leave for the future.
Here are three of the best photos of Hokkaido's beautiful scenery taken and submitted by our readers!

Rice fields like a water mirror (Higashikawa Town)

This is the view from Kitoushi Observation Pavilion, a viewing spot in Higashikawa Town.
Higashikawa is a rice-producing area, and during the rice planting season, the rice fields look like a water mirror, and the view from the observation deck is spectacular.
I tried to take this photo during the western sunset.

A word from the Domingo editorial team
The sunset that signals the end of the day casts a shimmering light on the townscape, a scene that can only be seen in a rice-producing region with its vast rice paddies.
In Higashikawa, rice planting begins in mid-May, but before that, a rice planting ceremony is held to pray for a bountiful harvest, including a ritual performed by a shrine priest and a Shinto ritual dance performed by shrine maidens.
The water surface turns golden as the ears bear fruit in the autumn!

Big clouds and colorful lupines (Kamifurano Town)

The lupine is a beautiful place, but the big clouds are also very picturesque.

The contrast between the white clouds in the blue sky and the brightly colored lupines is beautifully captured in this perfectly timed shot!
It is said that the language of flowers of lupine is "imagination," "always happy," "greedy," and "you are my comfort.
It seems to give peace and happiness exactly to those who see this photo.

Cows and children looking at each other (Takikawa City)

This day's "Encounter with the Unknown" was "Mr. Moo Moo" at Maruka Kogen, a rape blossom-scented plateau! Surrounded by nature every day, my 1 year and 8 month old is full of discoveries(!).

I want to look back when I grow up! This is a healing picture of a precious first experience!
It may have been a surprising moment of encounter with the unknown for the cows, too 🐄.
Not only cows but also sheep graze on the Maruka Plateau, and there is also an observatory near the top of the mountain where you can experience many things, so I would definitely like to visit there!
