"Abashiri Nature Cruise Whale, Dolphin and Sea Bird Watching" will begin operation in April. This year, the cruise will operate for seven months from April to October.

In April and May, "minke whales" and "petrels" can be seen fairly often; in June, "porpoises" can be seen; and from September, "Pacific white-sided dolphins" and "aardvarks" can be seen.
