[Notice of Cancellation of the 43rd Hokuto City Mohechi Salmon Festival in 2024
The 43rd Hokuto City Mohechi Salmon Festival, which was scheduled to take place on November 3, has been canceled due to the difficulty in securing salmon for the day of the event, based on forecasts of salmon migration and landings.

The "Salmon Festival" will be held along the Mohechi River, where salmon migrate upstream. The "Catch the Salmon" event (pre-registration required) will be a great success for those who want to watch. Fresh seafood and salmon hot pot will also be on sale.
