For first-time gold diggers, we recommend the "Guided Experience with an Instructor.
Guided Gold Digging Experience with an Instructor
One instructor per one to ten visitors is recommended.
Please make a reservation at least 7 days prior to the day you wish to experience.
The instructor will send you a short text message on your cell phone within 4 days of your application to let you know whether or not you will be accepted.
If you have not heard from the instructor within 4 days of your application, please contact the instructor listed on the application form on his/her cell phone.
Please note that the instructor may refuse to accept your application due to his/her availability.

[Other] Please prepare your own container (camera film case, small glass bottle, etc.) to put the collected gold sand in. Since water will be added along with the gold sand, we recommend that you use a container that will not leak water. For those who forget to bring a container, cases are available for purchase for 200 yen each.

No instructor will be available to guide you (tools rental only).
Tools are available for rent at Cosmor Taiki Roadside Station. (No advance reservation is required.)
You can also make bookmarks with the gold sand you collected. 300 yen per bookmark. Please inquire at the cashier counter. (Applications accepted until 17:00)
Please return the loaned tools by 17:00 on the same day.
