The "42nd Higashimokoto Shibazakura Festival" held at Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park. It is a popular spring event where you can enjoy the spectacular view of moss phlox that dyes the entire hillside in a vivid pink. During the period, there are various events such as the Shibazakura Festival opening, stage shows, character shows, and street performances. Furthermore, events that change content every weekend, such as music lives, dance stages, impersonation shows, and aircraft exhibitions, are also highlights.

There are also fulfilling magic shows and quiz projects for children, and a food stall corner with local gourmet food, making it enjoyable for a wide range of people from families to adults. It is a lively annual spring event.
