The SAPPORO Bundankyo Festival is an annual stage where leading Sapporo artists who are members of this council gather to present the results of their daily studies.

This year's festival is a co-sponsored event in conjunction with the reopening of the Sapporo Museum of Education and Culture,
The Japanese section will include Japanese traditional dance, Noh drama, Ginken shimai (poetry and sword dance), and the Western section will include ballet, contemporary dance, hula, professional ballroom dance, hip-hop, and Jomon taiko drumming.
