In order to break out of the current situation, a national policy was set to manufacture the wooden fighter plane "Ki 106". Ebetsu-cho (now Ebetsu City) was chosen as one of the production sites. Many young people gathered there were truly working for the "country. Even in an environment that tends to be dark, the young people are living their lives in their own way.
Then, on June 11, 1945. The first Ki-106 finally took off on a test flight. Ki 106 took off into the sky, and those who watched with bated breath saw what ....... The long-awaited revival of words of hearts' masterpiece that sheds light on Hokkaido's hidden history.
