Overview
The Blue Period Exhibition in Sapporo allows visitors to experience the world of the popular manga "Blue Period". The exhibition also features an "immersive theater" that makes full use of the latest video technology, as well as a store where visitors can purchase original goods only available at the Blue Period Exhibition.
What is "Blue Period"?
A manga by Tsubasa Yamaguchi that has been serialized in "Monthly Afternoon" since 2017. The main character, Yaguchi Yatora, who spends his days with a sense of emptiness, one day is captivated by a painting in the art room and awakens to the fun of art. From there, the work depicts how he creates art while struggling to pass the entrance exam to Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, and how he faces life at a prep school and the entrance exam.
